I got involved in sports and clubs and went to as many games, dances, etc. as I could. Getting involved help me meet new people from different sending districts. Meeting new people helped me have a great time having friends to enjoy my four years of high school with.
Posted by a student on 5/23/2019It is more like a prison environment. Students are in perpetual lock down without free movement on and off campus or during lunch. The policy appears to be based upon a false ideology of chronic danger. An armed guard at the main entrance should be sufficient in a rural area with a low violent crime rate. Drug sniffing dogs and an atmosphere of distrust permeates this school. The administration should read some educational literature on the effect of fear and distrust on learning.
Posted by a community member on 3/11/2019They treat the students like babies. They don't care if someone is being bullied and frankly they don't care what kids so unless it bothers them. Like you can't express yourself or anything. You are judged by everyone there.

Aside from having talented and supportive teachers and staff it offers way more curriculum variety and after school activities that aren't available at other schools.The Art and music departments have won many awards are the best in the area!
Posted by a student on 5/2/2012I LOVE this school. its amazing all of the students are friendly. You can go to any teacher no matter what and they will help u with anything in their powers. The sports in this school are amazing and the coaches are all great!

Hope after the George Floyd wave of protests they got rid of them like in many schools all over the country. Why does the black and brown students policed like this and it is normalized. The children that attend ICRS are well behaved and respectful, communication with the teachers is excellent, and the parents are positively involved at an appropriate level. The arts programs are excellent. The academic expectations are high for the students, and there is appropriate support for students to meet that standard. Most importantly, there is a sense of family and a dimension of spirituality at ICRS. I could not be more pleased to send my children to ICRS.Parent Review11y ago
