Mercerville Elementary School

We love Klockner Elementary! Our daughter just finished kindergarten and she has grown so much. Her academics have impressed bed more than we expected and so has her confidence. She’s made some great friends this year and we loved her teachers. The teachers and staff are very loving and caring and provide the nourishment these kiddos need to excel. The family events outside of school are great too and help build up the community. Joining Klockner is truly like joining a family!

There are no computer classes offered even for senior elementary students. The computer classes in other districts start at kindergarten level. No creativity in art class.. kids feel bored when they have art. Barely teach any science/history. Kids fall behind from rest of the state's elementary school. The rating itself speaks that. The curriculum is way easier and no competitive spirit in the students. 4th and 5th graders still start with addition in Mathematics. It will be difficult for a student to survive if they change school districts at any level.

I enjoyed my time at UH, I loved the teachers and I'm glad I went here!

My children have been there since preschool and I have never felt anything but love and genuine concern for the growth of my children from the staff. The partner with the parents and really focus on developing a Holistic approach to education. They are truly a beacon of hope for the future of the Hamilton and Trenton area. They are a top Quilty educational institution that will challenge you and your children to live a life that will show honor to God and be an inspiration to the world around you. Our son was not doing well in public school. I had 2 requests for a child study team that were ignored by Hamilton twp public school. They have switched to chrome books for every in public schools and half of the lessons are link to YouTube videos or on google classroom. We hesitantly made the switch hoping a school with good values and smaller class sizes would be beneficial and we were overwhelmed at how much our son has improved in both school and his attitude. He is excited to go to school now, which I have never seen before and has told me “I love my school” more than once. His teacher is extremely attentive and approachable, as well as receptive to any concerns and willing to work with us to keep him on track. Something we did not have in public school. The small school allows the teachers and students to develop a strong relationship with each other which fosters respect, caring, confidence, support and learning. He is truly getting a quality education here as well as a better school experience. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

Horrible - would not recommend this school - better off sending your child to a public school.
