If your child is of any other race, or of any other religious practice, they will without fail experience mistreatment even if they are the most intellectual student in the building. Posted by a parent on 11/19/2022Fair Lawn High is under rated compared to the schools in the area such as Ridgewood High and Glen Rock but can stand with them toe to toe as far as curriculum and extra curricular activities are concerned. They have an excellent program which prepares the teens for the next level.

The school also collaborates with the officer to maintain school security. The rules are very good and in the 3 years my child has been at school, there has not been a single problem. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far the worst school. Stay away, your child will not be safe here. My son was getting bullied in front of my very own eyes in the school playground as my child was standing first in line this other kid came pushed and shoved my kid back and made him cry, the person in charge of the children in the playground didn't even do a thing. After I approached the lady to advise her of what was going on she got really nasty and said do not confront the other child. Which I never did because I went straight up to her. After I went in to the principal office I met up with my child teacher and what she had to say was YOUR CHILD NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO DEFEND HIMSELF because this is not the first time this happens....as a mother I was furious and disgusted this was not the response a parent is looking for from his/her child teacher when your child is getting bullied.
