Fernwood Middle School

It was chicken patty day and they gave me grilled chicken on a bun. Went to the bathroom and cried. I would give this school a zero but the ratings don’t go that low.

Got severely bullied, and none of the staff(including principal and vice principal) did anything about it. Ms. Pappas only encouraged my anxiety, depression, and eating disorder. Very few teachers were actually there for me, but the ones who were, were amazing people. The school overall isn't that bad. It's a large building, relatively clean, and the food is better than miller's food. The school needs to do more for people that are struggling with mental illnesses, since they can't do much to stop bullying from ever happening. Might as well at least try to save someone's life if you can't prevent them from being suicidal. Also, some amazing friends made my experience at the school so much better. Otherwise, would've overall been 3 or 2 stars rating from me.

Excellent staff communication. Advanced programs and extracurricular are top notch. HIghly recommend this school based upon academics,education.teacher quality and adminstration communication and concern for students.
