Wonderful staff! Miss Romeo genuinely cares for her students. She is compassionate, consistent, and hands on person.

The parents teachers and administration all care greatly for the students. While we are a very diverse population, everyone gets along and people work together toward the same goal of graduation and successful students. There is no other school districts in NJ that compares to Clifton in diversity. This past year there were at least 10 students that went to top schools such as Harvard and Yale. Last year's youth of the year, which is a nationwide effort, was given to Clifton's own Carlos Polanco which shows what a truly remarkable school system we have in town.

hello my child goes to Public school 11 and I just want to tell you that Miss Amanda Nat Has changed by child’s life by the way she teaches and cares about each and every student. I couldn’t say more about her but she is the best teacher that I have ever had my children work with. I’m so happy with them they come home and they do their homework and tell them what wonderful things Mrs Nat does with them, you must be so lucky to have a teacher like Mrs. Amanda and that working for you I remember my teacher when I was that young and she changed my life forever and I still remember her till this day and I’m 55 years old. I just wanted to give a great recommendation that she changed my children’s lives and I love her for that and I love school 11. Please make sure she gets my message. Another thing is she helps tutor my kids and they are getting the best grades they’ve ever gotten before. She’s a great educator and a wonderful person. Me and my husband love her and wish she was there teacher always. Thank you and best regards. One other thing that I have to say and I’m sorry I like the principal there but he seems a little on edge when you’re speaking in the schoolyard I was there one day waiting for my children and I heard him yelling a little bit. That scares children and I know my son came home crying one day because He thought it was because of him. The man is a nice gentleman but I think he should be a little bit more kinder to students and staff in front of the children. I’m not trying to get anybody in trouble I’m just trying to make the school better with creative criticism. But overall you have a wonderful school and I’m happy my children are there.

In my experience working with the principal of school 12, I would have to say it was not a great experience. She lacks leadership. She tends to hide things under the rug when things go wrong. She has no interest in helping her staff improve. She does not know what’s going on in her other school 12 annex. She only knows what she hears from other staff members rather than go herself. She only shows up twice, barely from my experience. She’s more of a boss not a leader because her staff on both campuses need improvement, and it takes a strong leader to help and she does not refill that role.

My kids were there and at first it was a great experience, but then the staff changed and the new staff that were cheaper to hire, were untrained, aggressive with the kids and simply couldn't care less. The worst part was that the administration kept trying to cover up their neglect of the children because they had a shortage of staff. Once caught in a lie a blatant lie, we pulled the kids out. There was a lot of violence passed off as "boys will be boys", kindergarten teachers ignoring violent behavior and bullying right in front of their eyes. Not something you expect to see at age 3-4 unless violence is part of your own upbringing.
