While I appreciate the efforts being made to improve school culture, there is a noticeable lack of collaboration between leadership, staff, and families. Strong schools are built on partnership, communication, and mutual respect—not a top-down approach where voices feel unheard.When leadership leans more toward control than collaboration, it impacts the overall climate for both students and staff. I hope to see more inclusive decision-making and a greater focus on building trust with the entire school community.

My daughter did second grade in 2021 and it was the worst experience. Her classmates bullied her. Her teacher also discriminated against her and at school they didn't even help. I had to change her school when the school year ended.

At first, this location seemed fun and a lot is done for the children as far as events and themes. Down the line, I had a terrible experience with this school and know others who have as well. My child was mishandled by a counselor and it was seen by someone who called me immediately after the occurrence. I demanded to see the tape and saw that the counselor flipped my child upside down and took my child off of the slide as they were crying. My child has a sensory disorder and communication delays were addressed with the staff prior to enrollment. Even for a typically developing child, this was not the appropriate way to handle one. Additionally, there is an overflow of campers within the summer program and it does not seem like there is enough support for the volume of children in each group. There is no receptionist, just a school nurse who handles all administration and payment processing. Counselors were typically overwhelmed and encouraged to stay outdoors for most of the day. There are a lot of other testimonies shared with me about the school director and staff, but I am sharing my own. I would not recommend anyone to send their child to this school for many reasons. At the very least, visit a few times and take a look at the environment prior to deciding on enrolling your child.

St. John Vianney (SJV) is an excellent choice for parents who want their children to be well-prepared for high school. Having had multiple children in various school settings, we have seen the benefits of this preparation firsthand.Between the resources, opportunities, academics, athletics, and social/religious activities, SJV surpasses other nearby private & public schools. Additionally, the school offers an exceptional lunch program in partnership with a top-rated, local cafe. Leadership truly sets the tone for a school's success, and it is evident that the SJV administration consists of competent, genuine, and experienced leaders who effectively manage the school.
