The district prides itself on keeping the price of individual educating students on the low side, however, this approach is starting to fray. The school is too large and needs additional staff.

As a parent of a child who never enjoyed going to school until she got to middle school, I can say that that is a testament to the great school it is. Poor. Chaotic. Overcrowded. Lack of strong leadership. It is also apparent that the middle school seems to favor the girls over the boys. So disappointing.

We moved to Chatham for the excellent school district since it was a top-rated school by NJ Monthly year after year. With 3 kids who either went through the middle school or are currently in it, I couldn't ask for a better education for my children.
