Cornerstone Montessori School

No longer an elementary school- Thank God! This school, like most in Willingboro, was the bottom of the barrel- school taxes clearly don't go to the schools in Willingboro, as they are some of the worst in the state. If you have kids and are considering Willingboro, know that NJ Homeschool Laws are incredible and that's the only way your children will receive a quality education, living here. There is an excellent homeschool community in the area, which is great since the schools are so unsafe. Thankfully, Garfield East is no longer an Elementary School but, now little kids get dumped off into this tax-funded daycare, which they call a "head start". By that, they mean head start into government dependency, since they indoctrinate them younger and younger, these days. Keep your kids as far away from this district as possible!

The Preschool program at this school is one of the best I've have seen. The kids are engaged, excited and have a wonderful safe environment to learn and be supported. The school is always encouraging parents to participate in their kids learning with several events throughout the year. Very glad we were able to find a great public school that's super close and convenient.

I’m still waiting for the $500 I was awarded in 2017. School is good but they don’t deliver on their promises.

I entered this school when I was in 6th grade. My mental health was healthy, I was happy and a normal 12 year old. Studies were harsh teachers were kind but the teachers for the more Islamic studies were harsh and wouldn’t take any reason for you not to do your homework. My mental health declined in 7th grade. I had severe depression and anxiety to the point I was thinking about killing myself. I used to be a straight a student in my old school but in IABC my grade went to Cs, Ds, and even Fs. The teachers would give you detention when you had bad grades or missed even one homework assignment. Days off for no reason, which was unnecessary with the heavy studies we had.
