Posted by a parent on 6/2/2019Both of my children graduated from BBHS and I am so happy that they experienced attending a small high school with such a great cultural diversity. They both graduated with honors and got into the college of choice. To me this high school has prepared my children for the real world and my experience as an active parent couldn't have been better.
Posted by a parent on 6/22/2013The Art and Cooking Programs have the best teachers. Art is important for a child to express themselves. Cooking is a necessity of life and to many people depend on prepackaged food to eat and not nutritious economical meals they can proudly make themselves. Go to Bound Brook High for those to best programs and you come out a winner. There other classes are great as well.
Posted by a parent on 4/25/2010It is a great school with dedicated teachers. My daughters both graduated from BBHS, and they loved it. Bound Brook, has been through a lot lately, battling floods and rebuilding every time and coming back stronger, and the High School has been both a shelter and a bright spot in this small borough. It is an historical town and the High School reflects that great nature of this town.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have worked in the Bound Brook School District for 16 years and have had the pleasure of working with the elementary principal Dr. Hipolita Hernandez-Sicignano for the past 5 years. She is one of the most compassionate and hard working administrators in this district. She always goes above and beyond for every student who walks through our doors and works tirelessly for every family to ensure student safety. She will always greet every parent, student and faculty member with a smile and listens to every concern brought to her attention and does her very best to resolve them. She is the heart of both LaMonte and LaMonte Annex. We here at Bound Brook are extremely lucky to have her as our principal.Other Review3mo ago - Adamsville Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis review is mainly for their panthers preschool program and administrative staff. My daughter attended the preschool program when it was at Crim and I loved it. I was shocked to hear the entire program moved to Adamsville 2 years ago but thought it should be the same as all the teachers are the same. Boy was I wrong. I learned what a difference it makes when you have good supporting and administrative staff. The staff at Adamsville do not communicate with you and very unresponsive. You can never reach anyone even when you have an urgent matter. The nurse is always out of office and doesn’t reply until at least over a week later. And more importantly, they lie about a lot of things. When you can get to someone, they will tell you what you want to hear just to brush the matter off when in reality, they don’t care and aren’t/won’t do anything to address or resolve your issue. My son lost transportation this year and I was told there’s no school bus for everyone in the preschool program. That was a lie as I see preschoolers hop on the buses everyday during pick up. Then I asked again and was told none of the bus service my area. That was also a lie as I see a bus with 2 students on it pass by my street everyday. So when you ask a question they don’t want to answer, they will just ignore you completely. But to be fair, the teachers in the program are wonderful and they truly care for each and every student. Some teachers will go above and beyond to ensure the well being of the students. My daughter had such great experiences with her teachers (which they are still in Adamsville) that she still talks about how wonderful they are to this day (she is currently in grade 1). There is no point in wasting your money in this program when you can pay a little more and have longer hours and better than experience elsewhere. The school hours are so short that I literally only have 2 hours in between drop off and pick up. Every day, I just have the urge to pull my son out of the program just to keep my sanity. But the only reasons why I kept my son there is because of the teachers and he loves going to school to play with his classmates. I cannot wait for the school year to be done.Parent Review2y ago - Elizabeth Avenue Elementary School
