Mac Farland Intermediate School

This school is absolutely a disgrace. I was a student here, and boy can I say this school is not what it seems to be. The counselor seems to be part of the "gossip girls" and completely ignores everyone else. The school says it "stands up against bullying" but instead of punishing people they get a warning or not even anything. More people got in trouble because the gossip girls got mad at something tiny they did, (such as not getting out in a playground game) and there is a note home and harsh punishment. This school does not push healthy education standards, and instead pushes outdated ones. The time in this school may have been the worst years of my life.

My son has continued to advance his knowledge and attain academic achievements which one may find much more in a private school setting. He’s receiving an excellent education which is not viewed as success in a whole group of students but more so focused on students individually (exhibited mostly in private schools). Working one-on-one with children strengthens their initiative and helps them view success as achievable and not just a possibility.

This school is awesome. It's the perfect mix of students. I have many friends who live in affluent areas and even though their test scores are good, they complain because the teachers are lazy and don't care about the kids. You won't find that here in Bordentown. Our teachers are the best. Go visit the schools and see for yourself.

This is a good school in small town. When I compare with other school districts this school provides enough challenge and outstanding curriculum. The teachers are really wonderful. They really care about students all aspects of education along with subject knowledge. This school is not competitive. It is growing with diversified population. Definetly this school is a peace of mind for parents.
