Mediocre to the core. JSRHS does not seek or praise outstanding achievement. In many cases it is warehouse for idle minds awaiting entry into the timber industry, or worse.

Discipline is sorely lacking in this school. There are so many troublemakers and they are not dealt with properly. It takes a very individually strong student to succeed here.

The special education department and guidance department are not parent friendly due to lack of diligence with returning calls and e-mails. I absolutely love it. The teachers are AMAZING, the environment is great, there are a lot of programs offered, lots of grat class options...and the most epic thing ever...Intersession - every other year, the school offers 2 days afteer midterms for students to take all kinds of unique courses, like
