Teachers at Kearsarge go above and beyond and truly care for students.

My experience at this school isn't over just yet. I have exactly 89 days left here as a senior. I am graduating early so I can eat out of this district and school system. The changing of grading, competency, and schedules is exhausting as a student. The kids here are the most judgemental and rude. It's hard to be happy at this school when you feel you're always being watched. The administration are not easy to talk to. They make the system hard. They claim to care about the students but prove to us that they don't. I can't wait to get out of this school and I wish my parents had sent me to Lebanon high school when I had the option. I wouldn't send your kid here.

This school is awful. Bad is too generous for this place. I went there for my freshman year of highschool, and then transferred to boarding school because the teachers didn't care about your learning, administration hated you the second you did one thing wrong, and they will hold it against you for the rest of your high school career. If you are looking at sending your child to this school, don't. You're better off putting them in Proctor, KUA, Tilton, or Bishop Brady. It may cost more money, but it is worth every penny. I was miserable. There was a sexual harassment incident with one student last year, and his punishment was a 1 day in school suspension, every time that it happened. Don't even waste your time thinking about sending your child to this school.

Mediocre is a better word than average. An average student can certainly thrive in this school. My child is a sophomore this year and one of the top students.( This is my second child to attend to this school.) There have been virtually no challenging courses for her. Her greatest challenge would seem to be the lack of teachers prepared to teach higher level students. Homework is a rarity as she can complete homework during the actual class. They have eliminated honors physical science and biology for freshman and sophomores. Foreign languages are laughable: The AP Spanish class was so poor that they eliminated it after years of no student scoring higher than a 3 on the AP Spanish exam. The 4th year French teacher does not even speak French in the classroom. The principal is a proponent of "heterogeneous" classrooms but the teaching staff is not professionally trained to teach to such diverse classrooms. Slower learners are still left behind and the brighter students become apathetic. Fortunately, her friends are several of the other brightest students. Otherwise, I would find a way to send her to Proctor Academy.
