Read what parents are saying about St Joseph Regional SchoolWe are new to the SJRS educational system and are very happy so far. The approach is very kind and personalized with a community of faculty and parents who have been extremely supportive.
Posted by a parent on 10/13/2023There are some very good teachers at this school. Having said that, the leadership is lacking. Our child experienced bullying and when we shared our concerns and tried to work it out, we were ignored. Instead of having a meeting to try and work things out, the leadership directed its teachers to harass our child in another grade. When you ignore bullying or don't address it, you create more problems. Children need a guiding force to show them how to work out their problems. This school has a good academic program but needs some training on how to help children work through their problems.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son began attending kindergarten here last fall and I am so glad I enrolled him here. The teachers are amazing and highly skilled. The school itself is very homey and well-designed. The curriculum is excellent and really pushes my son to be the best he can be. They take each individual child and work with his assets to help him become even more confident than he was walking through the door. My son has learned to not only be self-directed but he has learned how to work well in groups as well. I have to say that their curriculum is well-rounded and helped him become the self-assured little boy he is today. The owner, Connie, really pioneered the Montessori curriculum in NH and when you come to this school, your kids are really learning from the best. I wish they had an elementary school because I would be sending him here next year if I could! Bottom line: Top-notch Montessori education. PS Better than Southern NH Montessori as I have enrolled my son there before and the two are incomparable in my opinion.Parent Review9y ago - South Merrimack Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI started my twins out in preschool and it was a great experience in this dept. however once we entered kindergarten it was apparent that the "rewards" (candy, candy, candy) were the main focus and not teaching any coping social/emotional regulation, blaming and shaming in front of other classmates, and more focus on memorizing a bible verse than meeting each child where they are at in learning. We decided to stay as the twins wanted to try another year. Not the same. The original administrator we started with left. looking back at our experience this past year I can see why. The school is run primarily by the church that seems to be in a constant financial crisis ever since old admin left and the antiquated system that is in place needs a total rehaul. We were sad to leave preschool, but the kids are so much happier now. Their father works for an anesthesia service for large hospitals in MA and children were telling my twins that "people who wear masks all day die" (during covid global pandemic when he is in the ER/ICU intubating covid+ patients)- this was allowed in a supposed "christian school"? I can tell of countless times my girls were bullied and every time we questioned it we were met with, "oh kids will be kids". No, these kids are bullies in the making with no accountability, and no system in place at school to deal with it. I was a volunteer for 2 years. I saw first hand what goes on inside. Its more of a school for the people who attend the church it is affiliated with, but their congregation has declined with changes there in personnel as well.DO YOUR HOMEWORK WITH THIS ONE.Parent Review2y ago - Trinity Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are good teachers, and there are not so good teachers, as in every school. However, here you are with your teacher for several years....so if it's not a good teacher, it's a not good teacher for years of your child's academic experience. There was a change in administration a few years ago and the quality went immediately downhill. I would look elsewhere and not waste your money on this school. They definitely favor students/families that have more than one child at the school.Parent Review9mo ago - Mount Royal Academy
