3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing. The staff are all supportive and encouraging, the school itself is warm and welcoming and feels like a community. They do all kinds of extra activities for the kids, like this year every kid got a cookbook and apron with chef hat, and at Christmas every kid got to pick a board game to take home. The curriculum is very good, and the advanced math and science tract is very apparent. My son was a little behind in reading at the beginning of the year, and by the end he is a full grade ahead. These teachers truly care about your child.Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - St. Christopher School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSending our boys here was the best decision we made when raising them. We moved closer to this school after commuting 40 minutes (one way) for a year. #worthit! This school prepared them for a college prep high school & then each attended a 4 year college. The staff & community are top notch. Highly recommend.Parent Review8mo ago16 Reviews - Infant Jesus School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents who have not been in this school system from a young age may find the transition difficult. The school has a very traditional approach to education. Students carry heavy textbooks, most tests are paper-based, and technology appears to play a limited role in the classroom. My middle-school child did not have access to a school-issued Chromebook for home use, and computers were used infrequently. One thing I wish I had known before enrolling my child is that teachers in Catholic private schools are not always required to hold teaching degrees. In my experience, this may contribute to inconsistencies in curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional methods. Examples included major tests being scheduled immediately after school vacations, finals being administered alongside special events such as Field Day, and tests that many students were unable to complete within the allotted time. There also appeared to be significant inconsistencies among teachers. Some used Google Classroom while others did not. Grading policies varied from class to class, and test scores were sometimes not entered into the system for weeks. In some cases, quizzes consisted of only a few questions, making a single mistake have a major impact on a student's grade.I found the overall educational experience lacked consistency in communication, teaching methods, grading practices, and academic expectations. While there are some dedicated teachers, many of the middle school teachers seemed disengaged and gave the impression that they did not want to be there, which did not create a warm or welcoming learning environment for students.Families considering enrollment should carefully evaluate whether this traditional approach is the right fit for their child.Parent Review2mo ago50 Reviews
