Nottingham West Elementary School

This school is amazing. The staff are all supportive and encouraging, the school itself is warm and welcoming and feels like a community. They do all kinds of extra activities for the kids, like this year every kid got a cookbook and apron with chef hat, and at Christmas every kid got to pick a board game to take home. The curriculum is very good, and the advanced math and science tract is very apparent. My son was a little behind in reading at the beginning of the year, and by the end he is a full grade ahead. These teachers truly care about your child.

Our son is currently in Kindergarten, and we've just enrolled our younger son in their Pre-K 3 program next year. We could not be happier with our overall experience. Our son is loved and cared for, and his test scores have improved tremendously over the course of the year. He was struggling to learn to read, and they offered extra help and support, and he is now soaring in that area of development. More importantly, he's learning to be a kind, empathetic and spiritual little boy who knows what it means to serve others. We cannot recommend this school enough, and there are many ways to receive tuition assistance, so don't let the price tag of private education keep you from touring and considering this elementary school.

We came to this school after K-3 in the Nashua public school systems and 1 year of homeschooling. My daughter started to dread going to school because of her experience with the Nashua public school systems. Her anxiety had become overwhelmingly bad. We decided after 1 year of homeschooling we needed to find a school where should could start loving school again. We decided to tour PMA and our daughter really liked it so we chose to go. The best choice we could have made. Our daughter has a 504 learning plan and does need a little extra help. Working with both teachers and admin as a team we were able to make sure that our daughter thrived at PMA. She began to love going to school everyday, she made a great group of friends and still has staff members who check up on her. She is now thriving in high school and she will tell you herself that PMA had a lot to do with it. The push for self advocacy, high expectations, sense of community and accountability have been some of our best takeaways. She goes to a really great high school now and its been commented many times that they can often tell which students come from PMA. They are often the most prepared and welcoming students. I will always be a huge advocate for PMA because of the wonders it had in changing the school dynamic for my daughter.
