1.) Too many videos shown for "incentive" or as and example of something that is not accurate. Too much screen time.2.) Specials for only 30 days. Once they're done with gym, they're done with gym--they count recess as "exercise time" without anyone encouraging the kids to actually get up and move.

I have no idea where the other people posting are getting their information, but Indian River School has test results that are higher than the State average in a State that always comes in first or second in the nation for testing. My child attended K-4 and we could not be happier with the school. The teachers and staff know each and every one of the kids that attends as well as many of the parents, emphasis is put on community--all children are included and valued and they each know it and examplify this with the way they value and cheer on their fellow classmates. I cried the day of fourth grade graduation for not only was I proud of how far my child had come, but it felt like saying good bye to family. EVS is truly the best and are truly helping the parents raise outstanding individuals. Required testing can only show how well a student tests--not the amazing and brilliant individuals they are becoming.
