In my experience the kids that go here are fantastic and joy to come across they pushed to exceed in every way and I know they will continue doing great things in their journey of life.

They work hard to give them the best education they can and really work with the kids who need extra help and challenge those who need it. The PTO is awesome and puts on awesome free
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2024It's a great school I personally think that Norwood Park is the greatest elementary school in Lincoln Nebraska. It's a small school so it's very easy to get to know the staff. The teachers are amazing and the principal is incredible. I couldn't think of a better school!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have gone to Huntington for the last 10 years, my youngest just now moving on to middle school in August. Although their approach to bullying could improve a bit, the staff as a whole have been great to my children. 3 out of 4 of them needed IEP’s and one needed a 504 plan, and Huntington always made sure we knew what was going on, and never made my kids feel like “bad kids”. Learning is a free for all within the teachers. There is a pattern: quality teachers do their two years and, then, they always leave for other schools.
