Gering High School

Amazing staff at the school. Both of my kids attende this school and the sentire staff was Bean amazingly helpful. My son was bad some troubles at times and they have helped him every step of the way!!!

We moved here last year. I have a third and fifth grader. This school is so old. The play ground equipment is old, the inside looks and smells old. The cafeteria is also the gym. There is no art class. The kids in this area aren’t that well behaved. My kids haven’t done one school project so far this year, not even a 100 days of school celebration like most schools do. They just seem very out of touch and apathetic here. My fifth grader has struggled with finding friends because the kids here just really aren’t that friendly. I think the teachers are nice and effective in their teaching. Otherwise, this is the 3rd elementary school my kids have been to, and seems to be the most dull. I haven’t seen much in the way of creativity, and the fifth grade teachers act like their schedule of moving the class to a different teacher for different subjects is something new. It may be fairly new to them but schools worldwide have been doing that in fifth grade, in fact they did it when I was in fifth grade 15yrs ago. No school is perfect, but this one definitely needs some upgrades.

Worst Elementary school any of my kids have been in. Bullying is out of control, and the teachers like to step in and be the parent in a parent/child issue.

This school is nothing less then Great .. Awesome facility and proffesional, friendly, and involved staff!! Teachers, teachers aids, all the way down to the cafiteria staff ;make a parent feel welcome, safe, and comfortable leaving thier children under thier supervision!!! The improvement in my 5 yr. old who attends kindergarden, has been a night and day difference. Absolutely amazing!! We can tell his main room teacher is definately involved, and knows how to encourage children to do thier absolute best @ all times. She has the patience and time to help any of her students truely learn and understand/comprehend the material beeing presented!! A++++++++++ Lincoln Elementary and Staff. Keep up the good work!!! Great school, Excellent teachers. our girls would not be as far along as they are if they went to different schools.
