ANCHOR POINTE ELEMENTARY

Some wonderful teachers, some unkind and hurtful, unkind administrator that spreads rumors and says hurtful things, doesn’t back up staff members.

We have been a Standing Bear family for 7 years and have 3 more years to go. We love this school. Most of the teachers have been at Standing Bear for some time, which is a positive thing! 2023-2024 is the first year that Standing Bear has 5th grade, so while it is a big school, they are doing great things!

You treat my son right. This keeps me happy, I appreciate the respect i receive when i arrive. I'm not saying all of the teachers are wonderful and they speak as you pass them. Most of them will avoid any eye contact and will act like they don't see you. But, I am not there for them I am there for my little one and how the (present) teacher is making him feel. This is why i said Great!

Legacy is a wonderful place for kids to learn and grow. I've never seen our child unwilling to go in the mornings, she is always excited for the opportunity to learn and experience something new. I would recommend it to anyone.

The principal at this school is absolutely awful. Bullying is a constant problem to the point where it has even extended to the bullies vandalizing our home because the administration does nothing to stop it. The teachers however are wonderful. The bus company is hit or miss, some drivers are amazing and others just don’t care and are only there for a paycheck. Overall I would recommend any other school that this one due to the constant bullying and harassment and nothing being done about it.
