Essie Academy

My honest opinion this have been the worse school my child have attended I’m am so disappointed and I can’t wait until the school year is out because my child will not be attending. I feel like my child is not learning and if it wasn’t for me teaching him at home he would most likely be far behind and he never have homework so I don’t understand how he is learning which is disappointing as well....and I still haven’t received a call back from the principal regarding switching his teacher which is ridiculous as well

My experience with Dole has been nothing but positive. Our children have thrived and have had great teachers. Whenever there's a problem we are well informed. My only problem is that in 4 years they've had three Prinicpals. I would definitely recommend Hanford Dole.

We have been so happy with our experience at Salisbury Academy Upper School. What really stands out is how much the school focuses on actually learning, not just memorizing something for a test and moving on. Our student is encouraged to ask questions, think for themselves, and understand the “why” behind what they are learning. It has really changed their attitude toward school. The community is another huge reason we love SA. It truly feels like a family, and our student is known and cared for by their teachers. The school also makes great use of the resources and connections throughout Salisbury to give students experiences beyond the classroom. And we can’t say enough about the college counseling program. It is incredibly intentional and personalized, and our student gets guidance throughout the process instead of having to figure it all out alone. SA is preparing our student not just for college, but for what comes next. Best high school in Salisbury, NC!

Everyone that works here really loves the children. They grow amazing relationships with the students.
