Don't send your kids here....the front desk administration sucks and are rude, the classrooms are seriously overcrowded, and my kids learned more from me at home doing homework and helping them from what they didn't understand at school then from the teachers. I should get a check from the hours upon hours upon hours I had to do homework every night. How are they thinking they are teaching the kids and the dont have english books, math books, science books to take home and read from to study?? My kids have been overlooked at this school and I am happy to say im trying to move to get the out of that terrible school. I know of several kids that flunked 3-4 times at Moss st. Some of the comments on here were probably written by people who work at the school so they dont get a bad rep. Why have a Nc education lottery when schools like this exist in NC?? Wow!!

Things go down hill the teachers don't really care about your education. If you listen to them while they are talking you can do what ever you wan't afterward.

Both of my grown children attended South End and I now have an adopted Grandson there. The teachers are magnificent, making sure each child is educated at their own pace, thus making every experience an enjoyable and happy one.

Some teachers are great, others not so much. We've dealt with bullying from the students and the teachers. The new principal is doing the best he can with the mess he was given.

My child loves going to school every day. They always test well above their grade level on EOD testing. The teacher truly care about the well being of the students.

Fantastic experience my my kids! Both attended their first choice for college (UNC-Wilmington and UNC-Greensboro). Teachers were caring and formed a great partnership with my wife and I. My grandson now attends and loves it. Athletic program offers Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball and Golf. The school has had great success in preparing kids for the next step.
