Pembroke Elementary

My child was struck in the head by two students hard enough to cause him to have a headache..and the teacher that called to let us know he had to go to the nurse as a result was not forthcoming...she tried to hide the fact that two other students had hit him..she said she was instructed to choose her words carefully in describing what happened as not to make the school look liable or in anyway responsible...she tried to bully my son into accepting responsibility for what happened to him..when we continued to press for answers it was discovered there was a resource teacher on the playground supoosedly monitoring the kids but she was on the bench under the shade trees with other teachers (probably) looking at social media on her phone while the children engaged in a dangerous game they learned on tik tok where kids are placed in a chair and struck from behind and have to guess who hit them, my child was not a willing participant but was physically placed in the chair by two bigger students and assaulted by each...then began the cover up...there are some very good administrators and teachers but this particular 3rd grade teacher may be educated but she is not a protector, nor does she have the children's safety in mind...she is a deflector and a very dishonest self serving individual...my child was not the only one Injured that day, he had a classmate who also was slapped on his head by another student hard enough to cause ringing in both ears ..sounded like a WWE match on the playground while the teachers had their gossip session under the shade trees, they need to be up walking and monitoring these kids instead sitting on their butt's ..the kids as i understand were fifty yards or more on the other side of the playground out of sight and apparently out of mind...no deterrent to prevent injuries or even keeping a child from walking off campus...we are carefully considering another alternative for our child's safety and well being.
