NC School for the Deaf

My step daughter loves going to school here. When she first started she was a little scared but by that afternoon she was ready to go back. Her kindergarten teacher was great. She is now in Mrs. Breedloves and comes home everyday talking about what she learned. Thank you Forest Hill for creating such a great learning atmosphere so the children can easily learn.

Ithink hillcrest school is a great school. The teacher are very concern when a child is getting behind in there work.The children learn so much moer than people think. So children get upset a test time or stressed out at the end of the year testing that when they set donw to do it they go blank. I know i was like that at test time.The teacher's have a heart to teach the children.No matter what they help the children. They spend alot of thier own money on things to help the children. They give thier all. Can't say there any better school in morganton

My son has been here since PreK and I have to say we have been truly blessed! He has had the best teachers! Very caring and very good communication. He will be attending 3rd grade this year and he is very excited to start this new year with a fabulous teacher. The teachers, principal and staff all make an effort to learn each childs name.

The headmaster has her finger on the pulse of the entire school...teachers, students, parents, administration. That type of leadership translates into a focused and strong community that is absolutely devoted to developing lifelong learners.

This school provides my child with speech, occupational, hippo, and aquatic therapy. She is now potty training thanks to efforts made by the most excellent and devoted teachers. They are always taking the children on field trips to help them build their social skills in the community. Great school!
