I started working at Davidson Green School teaching Science and Engineering because I recognized something rare: a truly unique learning environment, a passionate and caring faculty, and the freedom for teachers to bring their own passions to life in the classroom. Who wouldn't want to work there?Now, as Head of School, I have the privilege of carrying forward the mission of DGS—a mission rooted in curiosity, compassion, and authentic learning. DGS is a place where kindness, empathy, and care for one another are not just values we talk about—they are at the very heart of the daily experience.With such a supportive environment, students truly thrive. They are immersed in a rigorous, hands-on academic program built around project-based learning, where curiosity leads the way and deep thinking is the norm. Our curriculum is intentionally integrated and designed to help students make meaningful connections across disciplines, solve real-world problems, and see themselves as capable learners.
