Many of the teachers working a John A. Holmes dedicate many hours to make sure that our students are successful. There are lots of opportunities for students considering we are a small rural high school. There are AP and community college options as well as 26 sports that students can participate in. All students have iPads and teachers are trained to use them in the classroom.

Wonderful atmosphere to work in! All the staff collaborates together to do their best for the students. Teachers and staff equally engage in education as well as extracurricular activities.

John A. Holmes has a great program called ACE Time which provides a flexible time during the school day for students to get tutoring/extra help, attend clubs or participate in extracurricular activities, and for teachers to attend faculty/department meetings. Some great things occur during this time
