My experience so far is great as a Kindergarten student. Unexpectedly my child had to transfer in the middle of the year and we were worried but I tell you what, Mrs.Simpson is the BEST. My child is learning and never feels unheard. The staff is amazing and I want to shout out Mrs.Quattlebaum and the entire front office for the level of professionalism they provide every time I stop by.

The reviews about a lack of diversity are 100 percent true! The staff is extremely nasty and hateful towards minority parents, I’m afraid for my child at this school because of the way they treat minorities. The only parents praising this school are not people of color. I have never interacted with a nastier group of teachers and staff members. It may be in a somewhat nicer neighborhood but it’s not a good place for children of color!

The $20,000 7-day "Error"May 2025, no one in my daughter's class knew who the valedictorian and salutatorian were, so when I asked for my daughter's GPA 8 days before she graduated, I was not surprised when the secretary said they were still calculating it.In the 7 days it took them to calculate her GPA, I pointed out every error, like the lack of 9th grade, incomplete for art, and lack of her 2-dual enrollment classes, which the secretary said she didn't need, promptly followed by, "Oh, I said to much."One day before she graduated, she was named co-salutatorian, and we discovered top honors were awarded in March! If I had not asked for my daughter's GPA 8 days before she graduated, she would not have graduated with the honor she earned.The office ignored 4 of my emails for an explanation and apology. In August, 1 person replied and sent her correct transcripts since I requested it because she had paid for them Dec. 2024. I had no idea the dominions that would fall after that. She was accepted to colleges that she thought she was rejected by. We now know colleges ignore incomplete transcripts which she mistook for rejection.She received a $20,000 scholarship which was voided because she was not enrolled in the school.For this debacle, we requested 3 apologies, one for our daughter, ourselves, and one from the office staff. Our daughter received an apology for the "error." Also, a Board member refused to answer 3 simple questions: Where all seniors' grades being calculated 8 days before graduation?, Why was there an incomplete for art on the transcript but my husband could look up the grade online, does it have to be manually entered? and What are the year-end protocols for grades? I was told to take my questions to the office staff, who ignored my emails, and to apply Matthew 18!For a school that has been producing transcripts for 30 years, this should not have happened.

the food is trash. please be better
