As a former student I was there from 2012-2013 for my 6th grade year. The staff and teachers were all horrible besides two of my teachers. I was picked on and bullied. I have autism and ADHD. Posted by a community member on 9/15/2025Irresponsible, teacher did not display the bus information correctly and made multiple students to miss the PM bus. No safety at all, made all the students sat outside the main entrance for the parents to pickup them.

We put our child in honors classes, and the learning strategies were not solid , it was mostly just messy homework assignments and stress every night. She barely spent time with us because of this homework, they assign more work at home than at school. Also, there’

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is true that there are only a dozen students in each grade of high school; however, this provides excellent visibility for each student. This also helps students across grades get to know each other and make friends. My child joined BISC after middle school and was very timid in new environments then. 'Leadership' was not in her vocabulary. The teachers have been very responsible and patient, helping her build confidence in class. Now in the last year of high school, she has become the leader of a club she founded at school, and she is no longer afraid to give public speeches, and she has grasped excellent writing and organizing skills. All of this has been really helpful in her college applications. And she was admitted by her dream college.
