Read what parents are saying about J B Page Primary SchoolOur son loved being at Page! The PTO is so engaged and cooperative, and the teachers are fantastic. My son learned so much in both K and 1st there, and I can't wait until our daughter starts next year. The community is really engaged having firefighters come, the Dance-a-Thon, and the Reading with Rabbits program. I can't recommend it enough!
Posted by a parent on 9/21/2023We love Page. The staff is wonderful. The PTO is helping tremendously. Both of my children had wonderful teachers in kindergarten and first grade. The parking and traffic is hectic but what school doesn’t have this. Just need a little patience. Also there is a police officer at Page full time for security purposes and to help with traffic. I would recommend this school 100%
Posted by a parent on 9/6/2019This school is horrible. The flow of traffic is ridiculous. They thee different sections to pick kids up and if try to go around to get to your section, the officer will give you a ticket. The teachers do not care or speak kindly to the children. My child hates her teacher and cries every time I take her to school. When I have had to talk to the principle, she has gotten a bad attitude and has been really disrespectful. We will not be at this school ever again.
Posted by a parent on 4/23/2015The teachers are so very nice. And there security is great. The buses are always on time to the school, and very patient with the babies on the bus.
Posted by a parent on 9/17/2014I am also researching home school for my child due to the principal's demeanor at t his school. The teachers are great, but once I called to speak to the principal, and she went directly to my daughter's teacher to find out what the problem was before listening to my concern, which was not a criticism of the teacher at all. She is not a warm person and has never treated me or my daughter with much courtesy or as much as a "Good morning". She also has no children of her own, which should not be a factor since there are many loving adults who do not have children, but it may interfere with her inability to relate to students or parents. The fact that the views of the teachers are always held in much higher regard than the parents attests to this opinion.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hate this school, most employees are very rude and don't even get me started on the bus drivers, they kicked kids off the bus for no reason, they think that just because they see or hear something wrong they assume that it was a random kid and kick them off the bus. I do NOT recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago - North Belmont Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall excellent. Staff really care about the children and it shows. For example, Mr. Beam is there more often than not to greet all children in the mornings and is present at all school functions. He makes himself very visible and accessible to parents, and holds the staff and children to a high standard.Parent Review3y ago - Berryhill Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awesome for the most part....have had to request meetings because we as parents were not accepting the labels placed on one of our children in whom they really don't know personally!! Administration could do better at following through on investigations instead of saying that they will investigate an issue and they never have followed back up with the parents on the end result. We have also requested meetings to address issues to come to the meeting and for the staff and administration to act as if they are the one's that called the meeting and act as if to reprimand us the parents....NOT GOING TO HAPPEN and we have let them know. More respect could be given to all parents not just hispanic parents....other minorities such as black parents give negative feedback in regards to how they weren't made aware of issues that we as parents have tried to address with their kid/s bothering our kids or our kids bothering there's.. You reach out to the school to request that a parent meeting or phone call would be given to the other parent in regards to some issues that have come up between our children and there's and find out after communicating with the parent on our own in the community because that is what a community is about conversing and intermingling with parents and talking to keep a look out for our neighbors, we find out that the administrative staff that said they would open the lines of communication with parents failed to do so....another issue showing as a failure in following up with parents like they said!! But who is to say they cannot do better...we are sticking with Berryhill because we don't run from problems as we have shared with the principal of this school and other administration over and over....we just expect the staff to follow through on their word and do what they say they are going to do!! We also have confidence that superintendents and all will make the necessary changes needed to make this a better school.Another concern is that we feel the overall ethnic diversity could be more diverse. The school is majority hispanic and so is our neighborhood and many of the surrounding neighborhoods. We tend to see that many of the hispanic community stick together and avoid others outside their race not all but many. We are a diverse family of many races and coming from all parts of the US we are not used to segregated mindsets!Parent Review7y ago
