Read what parents are saying about Capital High SchoolThis school helped me a little but not a lot. my first year there i was on the "must be in essential English" and they ignored it completely.so failed all my classes and they did not help me at all.the students are rude and mean and the only thing a teacher will stop is if it becomes a physical fight other than that students can be harassed and hurt verbally to the paint where they don't come to school. The kids who are not in to sports or not wanting to be a cheer leader the will be put at the bottom of the list the care for sports more then the do for learning or any thing else. teachers thought i was a bad kid because i dressed and did my hair different they go with the clicks sadly they also lost some of my credits while i was there i do not think it is fair to me because i have to re earn them again over all a really bad school environment .i would like to apologize for typing i am still not good at it.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this school has low test scores due to the neighborhood. They have a more challenging neighborhood than the other schools in the district. This was our first year at Bryant. I'm beyond impressed. Their staff is so loving. They work specifically hard with the children with special needs. My daughter has some medical problems that needed to be worked around at school. They have done absolutely everything they could to get her accommodations and make her feel confident and comfortable. I feel very confident that my daughtersister needs are being met. I'm very grateful for this school.Other Review8y ago - Central School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved to this district over 2 years ago from a very large one in Central Florida, my son was in 2nd grade and my other son was starting K. I have been very impressed with the quality of education my boys have had here at this school. My boys are now in 4th and 2nd grades, and I haven't had one complaint (other than parking issues). Maybe it's the small town vibe, but I love that my kids are known by their names by the office staff and even the principle. In Florida schools they are so many kids in one school unless your kids are the trouble makers none of the staff take the time to get to know the kids, it's all about the tests. Here it may be about the tests too, but I feel the kids get a better all-around quality education, with recess and field trips, things that our old district got rid of to be able to pass those FCAT's. Parents are very active and everyone takes pride in the fact that they are part of the Four Georgians Community!Parent Review11y ago - Hawthorne School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at this school two years now and we absolutely LOVE it! We have had teachers from 1st - 4th grades and we adore them all!! I have 2 children that go here and they both love the school and all the staff. Lona the Principal is great very kind and helpful, Nelly the front office lady is awesome and always knowledgeable, the music teacher is totally the best and does amazing holiday and end of the year programs. The teachers we've had so far have been phenomenal! Very willing to help, very caring, fun, open minded, creative, and excellent communication. My favorite thing is how welcoming and personalized they are as a whole, they all know me and know which kids are mine, they are really a great school. Also the parents are great very friendly and involved, everyone has everyone's phone number and I haven't had any drama yet. Love the school love the community two thumbs up!Parent Review7y ago - Bloom Montessori School
