4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has had a wonderful experience at Emerson Elementary School. He is in the 2nd Grade and all of his teachers have been excellent. If our son has any concerns they have been immediately addressed. An example of this would be: He is very afraid of Halloween costumes. The teachers have made sure that our son has felt safe and comfortable in every situation. Along with this we are notified when he receives an award or is polite in school. His current teacher goes above and beyond her duties by making the students always enjoy school while also thriving in the learning process. She teaches them to have a global perspective and my husband and I commend her for all of the hard work and dedication she puts in to teaching her kids. Our daughter will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and has Long QT syndrome; a heart condition. The counselor at Emerson has set up meetings and made the process easy for us and our daughter to have an AED and others though out the school system. The is a great burden that has been lifted off of us that makes us feel much more safe when we send her to school. Thank you for everything.Parent Review9y ago - Hillcrest School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school until your child gets to 5th and 6th grade. 5th and 6th grade teachers (except for Ms. C) are absolutely terrible.Parent Review6y ago - Kennedy School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has changed principals recently. The new principal is still getting his legs after following a very good principal. You have to be careful about who your child gets as a teacher. Some are very good and some just do not seem like they really want to be teachers. Some parents really like this school while others do not and I think that really depends upon who your child gets as a teacher. They are a very punitive school using punishment rather then rewards as encouragement from my perspective.Parent Review9y ago - Whittier School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou could not ask for a better school. Mr Kissel is amazing he knows the students and parents by name. The teachers have the students at the top of their lists. The staff are always pleasent and helpful. All of my children have attended west and loved it. I cant say enough about the experience that my child have had at west.Parent Review11y ago - Butte Central Catholic Elementary-Jr High Schools

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to the school this year, we came from a similar setting with our previous private school so we were excited when we found out that the size of schools and the denomination were very similar. However, the school in Butte leaves much to be desired, It's my personal opinion that the school is more like a smaller version of public school with harder curriculum. The teachers work hard for little pay, and most seem to want students to be successful, however the administration leaves much to be desired. I have even had a complaint from my 8th grader that the Principal has used profanity. Anytime I have had personal contact with her she reacts like a teen with little thought to what is actually coming out of her mouth. This has been an overall disappointing experience for both me and my children. If you are not catholic, and you do not care if your children are sheltered from things like profanity, curse words or risque clothing then by all means send your children to this school. Otherwise move somewhere else. The financial guys definitely deserve some kudos though as they have been amazing to work with, are professional and always follow-up.Parent Review10y ago - Butte Christian School
