The teachers communicate well and go above an beyond to meet each child's needs. I only wish that there was a little more parent involvement. The PAC group is out

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDuring our Kindergarten year, the time at this school was great. The teachers were very good and we had no issues. However, in 1st grade my child was diagnosed on the spectrum and needed a 504/IEP to help her through the next coming years at this school. The teacher was awful, giving no support and trying to blame myself as a single parent for my child’s learning difficulties. The special education teacher at the time was extremely belittling and the Principal offered no assistance during the meeting. It was only after I found a Special Needs Advocate and brought these wonderful ladies to the next meeting that the school immediately 180 on their attitude towards myself and my child and offered aide. Yet with the following weeks of disdain towards myself and my kids, I soon withdrew her from the school and moved to a more healthy district where she could get the help she needed without biases.Parent Review1y ago - Morning Star School

My son attended for 3 years and it was the best educational experience we have had. God is emphasized in every classroom and every subject. The staff and administration were supportive, caring, and professional. I had complete confidence in their ability to educate and guide my child. The kindergarten teacher in particular is phenomenal. I have never met a more sweet and caring person. She takes interest in and cares for each and every child.
