I believe it to be one of the best schools in the county. The teachers are young and care about the kids

Where to begin...First we have moved from the West coast to be with my husband, who was stationed here. We meet with Mrs. Hawthorne and several other of the key faculty to truly get a feel of whether or not our kiddo's would be a good fit. We knew after our initial meeting that this was the place - the kindness and care and true passion that the teacher have for the children had really shown through. Then the sad news came that we would have to leave, my husband was scheduled to deploy (suddenly and without notice) 2 weeks after we had arrived ( and unpacked..;/ ). The whole staff had such grace and compassion on our situation. They were and still are so kind to our sweet kiddos and to my husband and I that I truly felt that the Lord had blessed our lives by getting to know them (even briefly). Beyond the lovely staff, I know that my children were getting the best education, one that spoke to how their minds work and grow. Thank you so much LAMAR STAFF - you have touched my husband and I beyond words!
