As a more recent alumnus I can provide a review that is based on first hand observations and experiences:Having lived in central Mississippi my entire life, I can say that East Rankin Academy is by far the best school in the region—especially when you account for cost, Christian education perspective, and overall experience. East Rankin Academy consistently outperforms most, if not all, other schools in the region in academic achievement, even despite its smaller scale and student population. Additionally, regarding athletics and extracurriculars, the school performs well above its “weight class” in these areas. Students also experience not only rigor in academics and extracurriculars but also in Christian spiritual matters through chapel, Christian events, and mentorship.The leadership of East Rankin Academy is simply superb. The leadership works tirelessly to ensure all students, parents, and faculty have every resource needed to thrive and to create the best learning and cultural environment possible.Nine out of ten reviews that are below four stars and negative are due to parents and families who do not get their way and hold personal grudges against the school, often for reasons caused by their own actions.P.S. If you want your child to have the best chance at success and to thrive in college and in their career, send them to this school.
