Read what parents are saying about Bayou View Elementary SchoolI’m trying to like this school, but the office staff are horrible. I feel the attitude of one individual influences and has infected the rest of the staff and I feel like they try to make problems for certain students and parents they have labeled and I even fear administrative retaliation for my comment. I’mPosting in case this has happened to other people like me. Maybe they will be brave enough to come forward.

Posted by a parent on 8/27/2019The school is great. The teachers are effective and caring. Positive environment.
Posted by a parent on 1/15/2019This school is more hype then anything. They don't focus on what matters, the students. I had high hopes and was very disappointed. This is a factory school pumping out employees not CEOs.
Posted by a parent on 1/12/2019Overall it was an okay school but I expected and had higher hopes for my kids that I didn't see with all the teachers but some I did.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMost of the staff are friendly and supportive i especially love the music art and pe staff the speech teacher and special ed staff are awesome principal is good and asst some of the the staff need to retire and give younger teachers jobs teaching is a gift and its rewarding but when you are just doing it to receive a paycheck or monetary value its time to retire and its always better to be kind and loving to everyone agree to disagreeOther Review8mo ago - Pass Road Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers lack experience, turnover is bad, classroom management poor and learning environment stressful. Administration is political, nepotism, authoritative leadership, favoritism, and does not address serious concerns. Administration makes unprofessional comments about other schools and jokes/laughs about PTSD on Facebook and at supporting events. Hypocrisy, preach the gospel but don’t model it to students.Parent Review5mo ago - Westminster Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlways heard great things about St James School, until I put my son in the PreK 2 program (21-22 school year). He turned 2 in July and started in August, so he was a very new 2 and he had a delay using his words. His teacher NEVER had 1 positive thing to say about my son and I was told by his teacher and the principal that because of his delay in speech that he was showing signs of autism (which I had him checked multiple times and he passed with no issues) and wasn’t a good fit for St James because of this which is very discriminatory and his teacher “just doesn’t have time” because this coming up year (22-23) they will have 20 2 yr olds in 1 class with 2 teachers. The main reason I paid 6k for my son to attend this school was what I thought smaller classes so the teachers would be able to have more one on one time. However, that wasn’t the case. If you’re on the waiting list or thinking about enrolling your child in the Pre K 2 program here. I highly recommend you not wasting your money on this one please find another program because this one just isn’t a good one.Parent Review1y ago
