Sumner Hill Jr Hi School

So far I've had 2 daughters go through Sumner Hill and it was an AWFUL experience. The Administration at this school is the worst in the entire district. I thought Lovett was a bad experience for my children but it is a perfectly run school (believe me it's not) compared to Sumner Hill. I absolutely dread that my son has to go through this school next year; however, I am thankful that he's my last child that will be going through CPS. Either the district needs to step up and do something about both Lovett and Sumner Hill (it is NOT a secret that BOTH of these schools are a problem) or do what every other school in the US does and put the 6th grade with the Jr High and the 9th grade with the High School. There's no reason for the separation, especially when the single grade schools are this awful in their administration. It's FAR past time to do something about the two bad apples in the District, they literally drag the reputation and overall ratings down. Not to mention the most important thing: the student's trust and the parent's trust that our administration will act in their best interest.
