Our experience with two children at Babler (starting in 2023) has been excellent. Pros—Good sense of community —Teaching, staff and curriculum —New principal competent and well liked—Smaller class sizes allows more personalized attention Cons—Facility is somewhat dated but the classrooms are good si
Posted by a parent on 8/17/2026Babler is a below-average school compared to other elementary schools in Rockwood. Babler's test scores don't even compare favorably with those of other elementary schools in Rockwood. Babler has had its share of bad principals in the past, and it's difficult for new administrators to change the alr
Posted by a teacher on 7/14/2026Babler has always been a problem school in the Rockwood School District. Just look at the Missouri school ranking, and you'll see just how far down the list Babler is. This is due to past administrators who didn't know how to run a school.
Posted by a teacher on 7/21/2025This is school is fantastic! Dr. Lockwoo(Principal) leads by example a team of dedicated, competent and team caring teachers and staff. We had special needs with our daughter and received all support we needed from teachers, nurse, counseler and the principal. The academic rigor is challenging but sup
Posted by a parent on 7/16/2023Absolutely horrible! The hierarchy structure within this school protects tenured teachers at the expense of the safety and well-being of the children. Legitimate concerns that are voiced to the authorities at Babler are repeatedly ignored. Bullying is tolerated, safety concerns are ignored, the best

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student, I can say that while there were some amazing teachers, the enviroment was horrible. Bullying (physical and psychological) was a huge problem and was never properly dealt with. The principal would accuse kids of certain things (which they did not do, and were out of her juristiction) and told one to 'man up and tell the truth'. So combined with a rich-kid complex and poor teachers and administration, this school is horrible and I would not reccomend.Parent Review3y ago - Living Water Academy
