Lincoln Elementary School

Absolutely disgraceful how a 2nd grade teacher can tell parents in a parent teacher meeting that “it’s easier to give them all 2’s in reading?” To a student who is reading well above reading level. (We had the student tested by an elementary school teacher from another district.) Not at all impressed with Lincoln county and small children.

I hate that this school uses group punishment, and they don’t punish students when the are actually doing wrong, and they only punish because rules that are unfounded. This school cares about you until you reach 7th grade, then life hits you like a train full of weights.

My children have been going to TFCA for 3 years now and we couldn't be more pleased! The staff has always been super supportive, communicative, and eager to help my kids succeed academically and in their faith. My children have always loved their teachers and respected them greatly! When my children have gone through the difficult behavioral phases, that all kids seem to do, the teachers have actively engaged in and communicated supportive efforts to collaboratively help my children grow beyond those phases into respectful, honoring, and enthusiastic kids! Their disciplinary approaches have a self-lead approach: they clearly communicate any unacceptable behaviors, why they are unacceptable, and the consequences. If the child chooses to continue those behaviors, they stand behind the consequences! (Separation from friends, no recess, etc.) TFCA has been a wonderful school and made my kids better people!

We had children in Lincoln Elementary district and now have one at Claude Brown and I absolutely love Claude Brown! The teachers and all staff I’ve encountered are amazing and I love their involvement with the families and community!
