N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWalnut Park is a growing community based school. Pros: caring, dedicated teachers and staff; extracurricular activities for students at all grade levels; academics are measured by growth; lots of parental involvement opportunities; lots of access to technology and curriculum resources Cons: the discipline system is unfair (some students seem to be able to do anything they want, others get in trouble for trivial things), lots of standardized testing, many parents don't participate, the extra long school day (7:30-4:30) and long school year (mid August - late June) means that the students get "burnt out", big emphasis on test scoresParent Review10y ago - Fairview Primary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur school is under construction for improvements. We have a new Instructional Leaders and several ambitious Instructional Facilitators. Our Instructional Leaders is making progress to execute us to a 5STAR school. I like the new bright classrooms and elevator that is being implemented to provide a comfortable environment. Our school is improving by enlisting new advocates for our children and providing continuous professional development.Teacher Review10y ago - Lexington Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here from kindergarten to second grade. When I first started, some random girl pinched me. I don't remember much from this school, but my advice is don't let anyone get close to you on your first day of kindergarten.Other Review1y ago - St. Matthew Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon’t enroll your kid in this school, this school is nasty they have rats, roaches, and ants they charge way to much for tuition plus the uniforms. They don’t do anything about bullying. They only care about the money and they don’t care about the students feelings. They don’t teach kids things in their grade level and they always make the girl’s take care of the younger kids. They show favoritism to certain students. The bathrooms are nasty and the older girls only have one stall in their bathroom and some of the teachers are very rude.DON’T ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL.Parent Review2mo ago
