My son goes to Saint Ambrose and loves it! The teachers and staff are amazing and very accommodating to the childrens needs. We have had nothing short of an outstanding experience at this school. The community is one of a kind and there are so many options to get involved! Best catholic grade school

Posted by a parent on 9/5/2022St. Ambrose is a great school with a very welcoming environment. They accomodate kids that need an extra challenge as well as those kids that need a little extra help. Outstanding teachers! Good after school enrichment programs and good sports programs too. A great value in Catholic education!

I have the greatest communication with my daughter's teacher. I attend as many of their evening events as possible. I attempt to volunteer whenever I can to show my presence. The school is heavenly involved in the community. It provides a nurturing environment for its student to learn and grow. This school welcomes Upper Class, White, Catholic, and full tuition paying families. Anyone other than that, please be advised you will be treated as inferior and as an inconvenience.The SMOS Mission Statement asserts the school is one of “Diversity.” It sites the Parish with aspirations to “serve others with unconditional generosity.” Furthermore it claims the school is “working for a more just society.”Those avowed intentions are anything but that.I have served Special Ed students for 15 years in five various school settings. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved over 2000 miles for my daughter to attend Central Institute for the Deaf. Every single staff member from the janitor to the principal is amazing. They are dedicated, professional and have the skills and expertise to teach children who are deaf. Last year my daughter made nearly two years worth of progress in language and reading (according to her standardized testing) which never could have happened at her old school.
