Read what parents are saying about Old Bonhomme Elementary SchoolThe teachers at this school are amazing. They are very good at what they do and are very caring towards the students. However, the leadership at this school is poor. The school administrators seem to be more interested in promoting themselves than helping the students. The kids are high achieving but they are not progressing as could be seen by the high test scores but very low scores for progress. The school administrators seem like they are not interested in helping children do their best and succeed. Instead, they just become defensive when discussing student's lack of progress. Instead they just come back and say how great they are without addressing why the students are not progressing. It’s a shame that the school administrators are not providing the necessary support to teachers and parents to help the children progress. Overall, I would recommend this school for the teachers, but not for the leadership.

Posted by a student on 3/17/2022Excellent school! Sweet and caring teachers and staff. We loved our experience there. We loved the Giving Assembly and the Science Night, especially. The facilities were are much better than our previous school, and the Ladue Schools plan to improve them. We love the diversity, too. Many families from different cultures!

His kindergartner teacher ignored him but help other kids, My son cries every morning before he goes to school, also secretary and counselor will not allow me to walk my son to class they will not allow me to sit in his class teacher does not want me in class to watch him. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has all the diversity of a big city in one small school. The love poured into this school is truly felt by my two children. It's heart warming to her them sing bible songs at home learned in chapel and music class. There is only one class per grade so the kids are building great friendships with their classmates as they progress from grade to grade together. As parents we always look forward to the quarterly parent/teacher meetings to see all the progress the kids have made. Last year a healthy handmade breakfast and lunch was prepared at the school by a chef and several culinary students which we were very proud of. The school has several raised vegetable garden beds and a native prairie on the property which is great connection, however I don't feel much attention is given to the garden by students as much as I would like to see. The one area needing more attention I feel is physical education. Last year this only happened twice a week. I do understand this is already being looked at however and have heard they are hoping to add sport team opportunities next year.Parent Review9y ago - Torah Prep School - Girls Division

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended Immanuel Lutheran School (Olivette) for three years. He absolutely loves the school, teachers, and the staff. Immanuel emphasizes the importance of values and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. Immanuel brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths. It creates an environment that is Christ-centered, filled with kindness, and creates responsibility and leadership. The teachers at Immanuel Lutheran School are patient, engaging, energetic, and passionate about seeing their students succeed. If you are looking for an amazing school for your child in this general area, I highly recommend you schedule a tour!Parent Review2y ago - H F Epstein Hebrew Academy
