Gotsch Intermediate School

In our experience, the district is inclusive and innovative. They are always trying to find ways to help students learn and adapted very well when Covid hit.

Christ Community Lutheran School. This is a comment on the preschool, Glendale Missouri campus. The building is very clean and neat; the teachers have degrees and seem competent. The playground has no shade and is out of date. Our primary problem however was that the rooms where the children spend their entire day are very very tiny and the children are grouped very restrictively. Our potty trained very active bright 3 year old was placed with babies wearing diapers and sucking pacifiers. She kept telling us that none of the children in her "class" can talk yet. We asked if she could be moved up and they said no.

My wife and I are so glad we chose St. Simon from the many other schools we looked in to and visited. The principal, teachers, and staff are wonderful. With two classes at every grade level the class sizes are kept small and make great learning environments. They have invested in technology with SmartBoards in all classrooms and an iPad cart. They offer a resource teacher, counselor, librarian, nurse, Spanish teacher, and more. TheRe are always opportunities for parent involvement and it is great to see many different parents and grandparents getting involved instead of the same few every time. It is hard to explain but there is a unique community atmosphere at this school that we did not feel at the other schools. Our kids absolutely love it too. There are stunts from all over the St. Louis region including Mehlville, Oakville, Sunset Hills, Fenton, Arnold, Imperial, St. Louis City, and more. I highly encourage anyone considering transferring schools or signing up for kindergarten to come take a look at St. Simon.

My child is part of a family at St. Dominic. She is challenged by state of art technology, teachers and principal. Care and concern foster great child development.

Holy Cross Academy takes an active interest in both of my children. This is an excellent school if your looking for a place that gets to know your child on an individual basis and then works to their specific needs. All of the faculty from 5th grade through preschool, including the specialty teachers (Spanish, Music, Computer...) know my children personally. The school has an open line of communication makes it extremely easy to approach anyone with questions, comments or concerns. They are always open to suggestions and appreciate feedback from parents. I am very happy to have my children at a school where they feel so at home.
