Cherokee Middle School

Teachers are great. We feel our student is loved and safe at school. It’s close knit and just a good school. The school has increasingly enrolled more low-income students, hence the shift in test scores. But they’re still known as a good school in the community because they’ve maintained their reputation despite challenges.

My brother a mixed kid gets bullied at this school and gets segregated from his peers after he defends himself but he is always the one who gets in trouble mind you my brother has tried to tell the teacher and principal and nothing changes this school is not safe and if you are of color I highly don’t recommend you and your family with be looked at as less than and you don’t matter we have tried very hard to give chances but it’s getting to a point that my brother doesn’t even feel safe to go to school anymore he already is singled out for being biracial and then you have a school you are supposed to be looking forward to showing you racism hasn’t changed and it won’t until this school and the peers are stopped

Excellent staff and have only had positive experiences with teachers.

It was a great school. The teachers are great and the system is good too. The teachers are really good with the kids and are very loving.

Not one teacher, admin or Dr. Heet certified to teach or be an administrator. The high school admin only has a sub license. You pay a lot of money and everyone at the school isn’t qualified to do what they’re doing. Kids are behind in everything and the behaviors are awful. No support and not worth it. Stay away.

My son has gone to school at St Elizabeths for 2 years and has done very well. The teachers are great. His teacher is Miss Huffman and she is a fantastic teacher he really likes her and she does a good job with the students. The principal is great also.

Both of my children attended David Harrison Elementary and it gave an excellent foundation to their growth. All of the staff truly cared about them and offered so many resources to help them achieve their potential. The PTA was very active and supportive as well. We loved that this school had an English Speakers of Other Languages program, and offered a lot of diversity and embraced differences. We still have fondness for their teachers even though they are grown and college level or above now. I am so thankful we moved to Missouri and found this awesome school- it is light years above anything offered in the state that we relocated from.
