Read what parents are saying about Ursuline AcademyAs an alumni, I can tell you that Ursuline Academy instilled the "Seviam" motto into my daily life. Serviam means to serve. I have kept that with me all these years and it has impacted how I treat others. Ursuline taught me how to treat others with individuality, dignity, respect and compassion. I took that lesson along with the faith-based academics that they taught and went on to get my bachelor's in nursing. I use the foundation of what Ursuline taught me not only in my nursing career, but with everyone I meet. That is a priceless gift that I don't think you will find given at any other school!!

Posted by a parent on 2/23/2016We love Ursuline Academy!! We've had 3 daughters graduate from there, all with different academic and extra-curricular abilities, All 3 just thrived there, and were totally prepared for college. (One even entered college with a full year of credits towards her degree)! The common thread and reason why is because of the truly caring, warm family atmosphere that is created there. Co-workers from the front office to the classrooms are there for your child, helping her achieve her God-given potential. There is lots of spirit and many different ways to participate and become involved. They have many faith -filled and fun opportunities to live out their motto of "Serviam" . It truly is a great place to be , "to discover the power with U".
Posted by a parent on 9/21/2012Ursuline is a great school. I have two nieces studying at Ursuline and they are very happy because of the environment and the teachers. They loves their teachers very much. Foreign Languages program has a a wonderful teacher (Spanish) who teaches her classes in a very dynamic and fun way. My nieces, my brother and his wife are really happy when they listen to their kids talking in Spanish just being in freshman year. Ursuline's principal is amazing.GO BEARS!!!!!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve been part of this school from pre-school until middle school. They do not prepare children for high school, grade according to state standards or include each student equally. There are clear favorites in every class and it’s typically a student who is the child of staff or ministry. There is next to zero diversity, including their staff, and they are only familiar with nuclear families. Parents are not friendly, inclusive or welcoming and it translates into the children. While they frequently reference the Bible, it is only used when convenient for them and not received by them. There are many private schools in the area. While I understand this is one of the cheapest, you should explore other options so your kid has equal opportunities and a positive learning environment.Parent Review2mo ago - Villa Di Maria Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son thoroughly enjoys going to school at Villa di Maria. He is always excited to go to school and has a very cheerful attitude about learning. As an early elementary student, he is learning to be accountable for his work, set goals for his learning, and has a great sense of camaraderie about his classroom community. The student population has also become more diverse in recent years and we really appreciate this. The campus is beautiful and children build forts in the woods during recess or play soccer on the field. While students are very motivated, it is not a competitive environment. There are also great evening activities a few times a year and it is easy to get to know other parents. The tuition, compared to other schools in the area, is very reasonable. We feel very lucky to be a part of this school.Parent Review1y ago - Rohan Woods School (Age 2 - Grade 6)

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRohan Woods is an amazing school. I love the student to teacher ratio. The school is super inclusive (with 2 African American boys this is important) and makes my family feel super welcomed. I have seen such an improvement with both of my children emotionally and mentally; they've learned so much. I look forward to the next couple of years with Rohan Woods.Parent Review1y ago - St. Peter Catholic School
