Given its funding and resources, it is a mediocre school. Teachers are fine (there are a few exceptions); however, it appears that they can become a little too involved with student lives/drama, which is unprofessional. Macon Co. R-IV is a fantastic school. Small class sizes provide individualized schooling for students. The faculty challenges the students with creative lessons. The administration is amazing. I couldn't ask for more. My daughter loves going to school.

A great place... to get an absolutely mediocre education. I graduated from this school awhile back, but, still having connections to the community, I gather that it hasn't changed much.
