Wood Ridge Middle School

When I first came here i hoped it would be better then my experience at the elementary but no its just worse. parents i beg you to not have your kids go here because they give zero care to a kid's mental heath or anything because say if a kid is being sexually harassed the school doesnt do anything about it

Horrible! They do not have the ability to handle children with disability. They do everything they can to basically push them out of the door. School professionals bully kids, and parents. Teachers are not certified to handle certain disabilities. Lack of communication from teachers and principals is a huge concern. They will nail one student for something so small, but slap the hand of another student for something huge. Segregate students with disabilities and back the parents into a corner. Horrible school district

Very unhappy with Woodridge. We loved the elementary school our children attended, but what a huge change once they went to middle school. The majority of teachers are unwilling to help the students, there is a lack of communication and resources. I am concerned for my children's safety due to all the bullying and lack of discipline for bullying. Yet they discipline for the smallest things. As a parent, I see why so many move to Rockwood or other school districts. There is no comparison with the education you can receive and just basic help all teachers should be willing to offer.
