Read what parents are saying about Murphy Elementary SchoolMy child fell at school and broke her arm, She was forced to sit in class all day with a broken arm, We were not notified at all. After seeing my child come home and not even be able to open a door or use it in any way we contacted the doctor and called to inform the school she would be missing the next day. Finally a day later we got a call from the nurse asking how she was. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will be pursuing an investigation as to why we were not notified and why she did not receive the appropriate care.
Posted by a community member on 10/1/2021This school had good academics in my opinion but the overall flow of the school wasn't great. There was unfair discipline to people who weren't often in trouble opposed to the people in trouble. The teachers are pretty much a good bunch but there have been a fair share of bad principals and vice principals. Overall 3/5
Posted by a community member on 6/5/2021Hesitant about sending our children here when we first moved to the area. I could not be more thankful that we made the decision to send our kids to Murphy. This school continues to impress year after year, highly recommended. We truly love this school!
Posted by a parent on 4/4/2020When we moved to this district, my 4th grader was so far behind because of the terrible school we came from. The teacher worked with her to get her caught up, and she is now in honors classes in middle school. I have another child starting 2nd grade and one in kindergarten and couldn't be happier with their education! All staff has been respectful to myself and my children. My kids come home excited to go back.

From our first visit taking a tour of the school then enrollment in summer day camp to our first day of preschool the staff and teachers were open , friendly , helpful and showed a real interest in our grandson . We could of enrolled him several places but was so impressed with Our Savior . Our other concern was the topics in the classrooms being introduced in the public schools the bullying that goes on and wanting our grandson to have a strong Christian education that he could not receive in a public school . Excellent school would recommend to any family looking for small classes , qualified teachers that are also caring and good role models to children . A family not just a school that encourages children to grow , learn and have a safe school environment .Parent Review5y ago
