Loved going to school here and so glad our own children went here and now our grandchildren attend.

While this is a close knit community, wouldn't you expect that from all little towns? The school and town are one of the smallest in Boone County. The teacher's take an interest and because they are always playing larger schools, they do pretty well against other schools their size in sports. We have lived in this district for 8 years and enjoy being at a smaller school where we have participated in Band, Basketball, track, choir, Quiz Bowl, National Junior Honor Society, etc. Go 20 miles away to a Columbia, Mo school and there is hundreds of kids competing for the same extra curricular activities. Drugs, crime, and disrespectful behavior are non-existent in the small town. Visiting teachers from Columbia can't believe the polite atmosphere.
