Commons Lane Elementary School

Absolutely great school. Dr. Carter and Mr. Thomas are great principals who really care for the students. My children LOVE going to Keeven and how great their teachers are. The teachers are caring, supportive and I never have an issue communicating with them if need be.I had a troubled student and the way the teachers poured into him, assisting in turning his behavior around was top tier! Together we created a plan and now my student is doing exceptionally well!My children enjoy collecting Golden Paw tickets to use at the store to exchange for prizes. I enjoy regular updates on my little ones’ progress via Class Dojo.Keeven is truly a great Elementary School, from the front desk secretaries to the janitorial and lunch staff. Highly recommend!

This school is terrible my cousin goes here and this school is so painful with the students and drama and work is getting just overall behind in 3rd i was writing paragraphs and they just started in 5th actually writing paragraphs. 1 star

The school has talented teachers who have a special interest how much the students learn up to grade and beyond. Small classes give each student a chance not to be lost and to learn quickly. The school is a happy place with older students watching out for the younger ones. I would recommend any one having problems with the public school to call and request a tour of the school. This is a safe, wonderful school for your loved children.

The school has had many changes in staff over the years. The school has not been the same since Mr. Moor (Previous Principal) left. The Teacher's don't seem to care about the student's. Communication from Teacher's and the current Principal are poor. Children are disciplined for petty things but big issues, like student's falling behind academically are overlooked. The curriculum is not challenging and Teacher's are stuck in the traditional catholic teaching style. Not worth paying for.
