Brown Elementary School

Since this new principal started, student behavior is out of control. Teachers seem stressed and so do the kids. I hear that teachers get no support from the principal.

My son was enrolled in Coldwater from kindergarten through 4th school was great until we came back from covid with new principles. The assistant principal denied my son his inhaler causing him to have to go to the ER and miss several days of school. He was bullied all year long and was attacked by the same student several times. I did not feel my child was safe at this school so ultimately I made the decision to move out of the schools boundaries and put my child in a different district. The teachers were amazing but the principles were horrible! I recommend avoiding this school if at all possible.

Teachers are really caring, patient, and thorough. Each teacher from K to 2nd grade has just been excellent this year. I regret that we are leaving the school district. Mrs. Gerald (as well as others) is really dedicated to seeing her students succeed.

I last went to this school in 2019 which was my last in person before the pandemic but I did virtual with them during my 2020 year and I gotta say I know that they have only improved I came from that school and then moved to troy and started middle school at troy south middle school and I realized all of my classes that I had take in elementary I was forced to learn again in middles school so I think personally from my experience this school is above and beyond and is a great school for learning and getting better

Kids safety this school is terrible when your kids get bullied the teacher and principal dont do nothing and dont care about your child well being. Bullies gonna get there lil assess kick messing with my son!!!!!!!!!!!!
