my child loves going to school here, I love the staff, if I have a question for the teacher I get a response almost immediately, there is a great sense of community.

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta School is the best grade school in all of North County. It is truly a leader in technology with mobile I-pads, foreign language, and academics! The students constantly demonstrate the true meaning of compassion. We could not be happier anywhere else! Did I mention that BTC has the best principal ever??!! The children AND parents love her! By the way, it is the only Catholic Elementary school in the archdiocese that has consistently increased their enrollment for 6 years in a row! Total student enrollment is 250!

My child attends Blessed Teresa of Calcutta (BTC) and has for several years (since pre-k). I am pleased with the school and it's staff. Many BTC parents are teachers themselves so that to me speaks volumes about the quality of this school. My child has a mild learning disability and the staff were quick to notice and assist me in getting a diagnosis and the proper assistance for my child. I find that if you are a proactive parent and take the time to communicate with the faculty in a sensible manner they respond very well. We have a new principal this year so I do not know her well enough to comment on her leadership at this time. There are still issues to work out with the blending of the parish & school to one site which is why I gave four stars, but I believe that will work itself out over time. All in all I am pleased with BTC.

They send away kids they don't want to deal with. I don't want to say too much because they might recognize my family but they will go through classes and any kids that don't "measure up" are kicked out. I know of a child with mild austim that was kicked out and another child in 3rd grade. I suppose if your child is a perfect angel this is good because it means they don't have to deal with troublesome classmates, but if your child has any behavior issues, talks loud, selfish, etc, don't bother with this school, they might kick them out.
